Favourite Neighbourhoods to Explore - Inglewood

Blog by Julie Dempsey | April 27th, 2011

Inglewood

(10 blocks due east of the Calgary Tower on 9 Ave SE)

This is a very strong community who is focused on the arts and crafts, is hippy and eclectic. There is great promise for long-term growth. It’s also close to the Bow river and pathways!

When there be sure to visit:

Bite groceria...beautiful things, beautiful food, every product has a story – ask if Julie the owner is there and tell her I sent you!

Spolumbo’s...a classic Calgary favourite for their sausage.

WOP (without papers)...the latest edition to Inglewood – the BEST thin crust pizza in town.

Modern Country Home Interiors...owned by my friends Jan & Cindy Shockey. Canadian made, real wood furniture and fantastic accessories and light fixtures!

After all that cruising around, you’ll have to stop for a coffee at Starbucks to recharge!
